My name is Bart Carels and I am a contemporary artist. Creating artwork is one of my biggest passions in life and I have been drawing for as long as I can remember. As I got older, I started to focus more on painting.
All artwork on this website is created by me. I offer both original paintings and art prints. The originals are one of a kind paintings. The art prints/posters are reproductions of these originals, printed on museum quality paper. The art prints are an affordable way to obtain a unique piece of art for yourself or as an original gift for someone else.
My artwork is often inspired by moments and memories, my personal background or interests. I’m an 80’s kid (born in the late 70’s), grew up with video games and I love cooking (and eating). The themes I use often have something to do with one of these things. Subjects include gaming, food & drinks and retro/80’s stuff.
