Original Paintings by Bart Carels

Original Paintings with Character and Story

Explore original paintings by Bart Carels, painted by hand and inspired by music, film, food, nostalgia, and familiar objects from everyday life. Each work is a one-off piece with its own surface, brushwork, and imperfections. From iconic rappers and movie scenes to burgers, bottles, and vintage objects, the subjects often begin with something recognizable and turn into something more personal on canvas.

Why These Original Paintings Stand Out

Every painting is created individually in the studio using expressive brushwork, layered color, and visible texture. I don’t reproduce original paintings or create duplicate versions. The result is a collection of one-of-a-kind works that feel direct, energetic, and unmistakably handmade.

Choosing the Right Original Painting

Start with the subjects you naturally connect with. If music is your thing, explore the music paintings or hip-hop originals. If you’re drawn to film, browse the movie paintings. Prefer still life and everyday culture? Have a look at the food and drink originals. Or simply browse the full collection above.

Signed, Certified and Shipped Worldwide

Every original painting is signed and ships with a certificate of authenticity. Each piece is carefully packaged for safe delivery. Once an original is sold, that exact painting is no longer available. If you like the image but prefer a more affordable option, selected works are also available in the art print collection.

Own the Original

There is a clear difference between living with a reproduction and owning the actual painting. An original carries the texture, paint surface, and small variations created in the studio. If you find a piece that connects with you, this is the only version of that painting that exists.
